Hiz to the hi! Big news out of Logical Betting world, unofficially brought by the Detroit Free Press. Rather than explain, I’ll allow our first official press release to do the talking:

EVENT: Logical Betting Appoints 3 to Executive Committee

DATE: Friday, March 4th

PLACE: Undisclosed Location in a Stupid State

DETAILS: Logical Betting founder and Executive Director of Everything LB, announced the assignment of 3 Executives to the Logical Betting Committee. Fah T. was named Director of Food, Beer, and Pop Culture issues. When reached for comment all Fah T. would say is, “please don’t tell my wife I am doing something fun.” Mojo was assigned as the Director of Intelligence but was unreachable for comment. Rumor is he is blowing stuff up in the Middle East but we are unable to confirm or deny those reports. The third member of the committee, JB was appointed as the Director of Public Relations. JB stated that he is very pleased and humbled to serve as a liaison between the community and Logical Betting and looks forward to working with all people no matter their race, religion or political affiliations.

That’s right, baby, I now have an executive committee made up of some of your fave LB characters. I asked the wife if she was mad she didn’t make the cut, and she said, quite bluntly, “No. Thank you.” She’s in denial, I saw her reaching for a bottle of scotch after I told her who was on the committee. To sum up again:

Fah T. – Director of Food, Beer, and Pop Culture
Mojo – Director of Intelligence
J.B. – Director of Public Relations
LB – Executive Director of Everything.

Don’t confuse this committee with the sub-committee, C-BOST, the committee for bleeping out sports things, which is made up of me. These cats will serve as the official consultants to LB, as needed. All get one vote, with me as the tiebreaker. They can also bring ideas and issues to me and/or the committee. Yes, this is way more than it needs to be, but it already led to a funny string of emails, that press release above from J.B., and the go ahead on a potential expansion of the blog’s reach… stay tuned.

On a side note, a quick thank you to Mr. ZWR of the much more successful and famous blog… I mean, susesfull and famos bolg, www.zoowithroy.com. He runs a great site, which, no joke, is doing really well. Many congrats to him, and a special thank you because, since he started the site for fun awhile ago, he has linked Logical Betting to his, and has never taken it down. I appreciate the free advertising, buddy.

Will the Tigers with the AL Central? Will the Phillies overcome many a hole in that team and win the World Series? Will I ever stop previewing coming posts? Will I post something else before I post the MLB preview? Will I post an NCAA tourney preview? (Probably not, even though that is the Christmas of sports). Will the wife sober up and apply to get on the LBEC? Will I send the Royals Win the Pennant Post (keep scrolling down!) to the Kansas City Star? Will I stop typing and sign off? Yes.
