Of thee I sing... |
Full post next week giving thanks for all to be thanks-ful for. Random LB fact - fave holiday. Any day where you sit around all day drinking, eating, and watching sports with no pressure of presents or going a million places in a snow storm is my idea of a holiday. Throw in passing gas being acceptable??? Yeah, I'm in.
On to the quick picks, in case your scoring at... didn't we cover that last week?
Week 11 Picks - 6-8/2-2 locks/0-1 tease (subs would have worked!); 69-65-1/12-13/5-1 for the year
Miami (+1) at Buffalo - Didn't we cover this "weird as hell" line thing last week? Doesn't that just seem WAY too easy? I'm staying away this time.
Cleveland (+7.5) at Dallas - Still not sold on that Dallas team. And I learned from my "too many favorites" theme last week.
Houston (-16) vs. Jacksonville - ZWR's wife/Texans fan is very excited about the prospect of a New Orleans trip in February. Houston has the youngest team in the league. Rut roh, everyone else.
St. Louis (-3) vs. NY Jets - When is Tebow gonna start? If it weren't St. Louis, this would be a lock.
Tampa Bay (PK) at Carolina - Sucker line. I'm taking the bait. And making it a lock. I so love this Tampa team.
Atlanta (-10) vs. Arizona - John Skelton is back!!! YAY!!! Lock #2
Green Bay (-3) at Detroit - Weird line... again.
Philadelphia (+3) at Washington - Philly is 1-8 against the spread this year. Make it 2-8.
Kansas City (+3) vs. Cincinnatti - KC all of the sudden getting respect again. Maybe cause they realized they have Jamaal Charles on their team. Too bad they still have Matt Cassell. I'll bite, though.
New Orleans (-4.5) at Oakland - They're baaaaaack! Who dat?!
Indianapolis (+9) at New England - The Pats haven't had that "step on their throat then piss in their face" attitude this year.
Denver (-7.5) vs. San Diego - If you Eagles fans really want to see a team that's quit, watch the Chargers. Also Andy Reid's next coaching stop. And Lock #3.
Pittsburgh (+2.5) vs. Baltimore - There are actually a couple lines that still have Pitt -3, but it looks like Ben's not playing, so we'll go with this line. What does all that tell you? That Vegas thinks
Chicago at San Francisco - Monday night. As of this writing, can't find a line on this game since both QBs are questionable with concussions. My bet is neither plays, and the Niners are about a 4.5-5 point favorite. But we won't count it this week. I like the Niners to win it, regardless.
LB Three Team Tease - Tampa +9, Atlanta -1, Green Bay +6. Subs include Miami +10, New Orleans +4.5, Denver +1.5. Hell, play both of those. Hell, let's say there's 2 LB teasers! Play them as is up there, what the hey?
I'm beat. Contact Logical Betting at logicalbetting@gmail.com and twitter.com/logicalbetting. Tweets have been quiet since the Tigers went out and the baby's been near. We'll get back at it. Hasta.

Thanksgiving is a good holiday, and you mention all the right reasons. I however, prefer 4th of july. it can be celebrated inside or at a campground. usaully have grills and beer and girls in bikinis (in my mind if nothing else) and a great reason to celebrate!
Here is a question that I got into on a debate once during a run that I would be interested in hearing your answer. it can be tied to sports easily based on seasons/championships:
Questions. What are the best four consecutive months? cannot be jan 15 to may 15th, but would be jan, feb, mar, apr or sep oct nov dec?
what would you chose and why? i will respond with my four.
